Summer Update Complete

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped clean up the bulletin board and to those who stuck around for our organizational meeting. We added a new summer theme to the board, and now have a schedule for maintenance by our various volunteers.

Bulletin Board Summer Update!

Our bulletin board is doing great but is in need of some attention, so….if you want to get involved, we’re having a meeting at the site on Saturday May 31st 1pm. Our goals are to perform upkeep and refresh the informational postings, then meet for coffee to discuss further volunteer opportunities.

3 Things you can do:

1) Come to our meeting at the bulletin board (under the California stop) on Saturday May 31 at 1pm! Bring your friends and a stapler if you have one!

2) If you are a member of a local community group and want a flyer posted, email a PDF or Word doc to the address below by May 29. If you come to the meeting, you can also bring anything helpful you would like posted.

3) Too busy to help out? You can always donate to our project. Donations help pay for supplies to maintain the usefulness and (dare I say?) beauty of our little bulletin board. Donate here: http://neighborsproject.chipin.com/logan-square-bulletin-board

Bulletin Board Sucessfully Revived!!

Thanks to the volunteers who showed up on Saturday to help out remake the Bulletin Board!! It was a success, we were able to quickly remove the plexiglass and put up some postings gathered from Logan Square Neighborhood Association. Our next meeting time will be posted soon, so if you want to get involved in the upkeep, you can.

Work Party Saturday 3/29

Come help us fix up the bulletin board on Saturday March 29 at 1pm!
We will meet at the bulletin board. Bring comfortable clothes that you might get dirty.

Our plans are to:
-Clean the bulletin board
-Remove the plexiglass
-Put up initial postings and information/rules
-Decorate the board and poles so people notice it

Saturday 3/29 1pm at the California Blue Line stop. Bring your friends!

Site Meeting 3/19 – Help plan the Work Party

We are getting this project rolling with an upcoming meeting at the bulletin board! The plan is to figure out what supplies we need to get in order to fix up the bulletin board to our liking. If you want to get involved in the project, please come out. We could use your input and help organizing the work party, which will be held on Saturday 3/29.
